What is active now
Oprators does not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or optional analytics. We use a small amount of first-party storage for security, consent, and preferences you choose. We also cache public website files and public page responses so the site loads faster. Public caching does not use a tracking cookie.
Storage we use
- oprators_admin: a secure, HTTP-only, same-site cookie used only after the owner signs in. It expires after eight hours, stays isolated to the login host, and protects the private dashboard.
- oprators-consent:v2: an essential first-party cookie that records whether you selected essential-only storage or allowed preferences. It is shared across oprators.com subdomains so you are not asked again on the articles site.
- oprators-theme:v2: an optional preference cookie used only when you allow preferences and choose light or dark mode. It is shared across oprators.com and articles.oprators.com, expires after one year, and is deleted when you select essential only or return to system mode.
Performance caching
Browsers and our hosting network may keep temporary copies of public pages, logos, icons, styles, scripts, articles, and crawler documentation. This reduces download time and server work. Application submissions, admin pages, authentication responses, and private records are marked not to be cached. Updating public content from the admin dashboard also refreshes the affected public pages.
If optional tools are added
If Oprators later adds analytics, advertising, embedded media, or another non-essential technology, it must stay disabled until any consent required by applicable law is obtained. This page and the notice will be updated with the provider, purpose, duration, and a way to withdraw consent.
Your controls
Choose “Essential only” in the cookie panel to remove optional preference storage. Choose “Allow preferences” if you want your selected color mode to follow you across the main and articles domains. You can reopen the panel at any time with “Cookie choices” in the footer. Blocking essential storage may prevent consent choices and the owner dashboard from working.
